I’m a Creative Director and Brand Strategist with over 30 years’ experience building thoughtful, distinctive brands across culture, commerce and digital. My work spans identity systems, campaigns and creative leadership. From heritage estates and cultural institutions to DTC scale-ups, I’ve led projects that balance strategic clarity with emotional resonance, helping brands grow, perform and endure.
Design has always been part of my life. My father was a graphic designer, so I grew up with layout pads, Cow Gum, Letraset and paste-up boards, absorbing the fundamentals of typography, craft and visual structure long before I knew their names. I later apprenticed with him before studying at the London College of Printing. That early immersion still shapes how I think, work and lead.
I’ve spent my career where creativity meets commercial reality, founding and running my own studio as well as leading teams in agencies and in-house. I translate ideas into value and vision into clear, usable systems. I’ve led brand transformations across heritage, retail, hospitality, fintech and culture; built and mentored high-performing creative teams; and launched campaigns that connect across OOH, performance marketing, digital products and physical environments.
My approach combines clarity and curiosity, blending strategic insight with emotional intelligence. I aim to create work that not only looks right but feels right, grounded in purpose, human understanding and lasting impact.
